The free playing space shall measure a minimum of 7 m in height from the playing surface. For FIVB, World and Official Competitions, the free zone shall measure 5 m from the side lines and 6.5 m from the end lines. Under volleyball’s rules, when in expulsion, player is out for rest of the game. Any disqualification leads to the player going out of the area from where game is being played. While the match is on, the group of officials involved are: first referee, second referee, scorekeeper, and line judges.
A match is a maximum of 5 sets, with a team being declared winner of the match if it wins 3 sets (i.e. a team may win 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2). Winning the Match . The first team to score the agreed upon number of points wins the game. You must win by at least two points. The teams switch sides, the next game starts with a score of 0-0 and play starts again. In a best-of-five match, the team who wins three sets wins the match.
